About Us

I grew up in Kearney, Nebraska, and I have always wanted to give back to the Nebraska community that gave so much to me. After graduating from Wayne State College, I received one of the most heartbreaking phone calls. My future wife, Tayler, called me and, with a tearful voice, said, “My house is gone!” I have never felt so powerless in my life. Her family had lost their house to the twin EF4 Tornadoes that went through Pilger, Nebraska. I knew from that moment on that I wanted to use my career to help families in whatever way I could. Since that time, I became a volunteer fighter, volunteered more at the church, and became an insurance agent with Midwest Regional Agency. The agency has given me the tools and partnerships necessary to start Hinrichs Insurance in my hometown of Kearney, Nebraska. My wife Tayler and I enjoy raising our one-year-old son Leo in this community and being closer to family and friends.
